One of the main qualifications employers look for in a prospective employee is experience.
But how do you gain experience without getting a job?
You can use coursework examples to show the employer your relevant classroom experience, even if you do not have related internship or employment experience.
- Format each entry the same as your other experience entries, including bullet points that describe the project, what you learned, and how you developed professionally.
- If you earned a high score on the project, include your grade as well.
- If the project was a group project, include details about how you successfully worked as part of a team. And if you were the group leader, comment about your leadership role and how that helped the team accomplish the task.
